I posted this on the MF Board with no response so I thought I would try it here. I just bought a MF1205 16HP and need some implement info. I will be using it for bush hogging, blade for the driveway, box scrape for part time landscaping, post hole digger for fencing and planting trees, moving gravel and dirt, and gardening. I was thinking that I don't need to go over 4 feet on the blade, box scrape or bushog for the size of this tractor. But have no idea of what I need for the gardening, I don't know if I should go with a plow and disc harrow or a 3pt tiller. What do you think about a 3pt dirt scoop for moving dirt and gravel? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ideal for gardening (depending upon your soil characteristics) would be a deep ground-breaking implement like a one-bottom plow (12" or 14" max for your tractor HP), or a chistel-tooth ripper and a 48" rototiller. The tiller works so much better after the ground has been broken, and the garden will fare much better with an annual deep sub-soiling to loosen compaction. ....

Nuc, there's some interesting MF stuff at www.ytmag.com(Yesterday's Tractors). Go to the site and then click on "forums". There's one for Massey-Harris/Massey-Ferguson. ....
